Seasons
In just two short weeks, I’ll be finished with my Master’s in Nursing. For the past year and a half, I’ve shifted my focus almost entirely toward reaching this goal. There are seasons in life when you need to put your head down and work hard, and then when it’s done, it’s time to return to the things that fill your life with joy.
During this time, I’ve also been collecting ideas for how we can continue improving our habitat garden so it supports more wildlife and creates more ways for us to connect with the creatures that visit it.
Today, I was looking at our old red flowering current shrubs, and not one had a leftover berry from last fall. The birds seem to especially relish those berries!
I'm looking forward to finishing my degree just as spring is beginning--it feels perfectly timed! I’m planning to spend most weekends over the next six months out in the garden, making it even more beautiful and welcoming for the living beings who share it with us.
Stay tuned for more to come!
