First Dress

Saturday, March 15, 2008

Juniper and I went shopping this morning, while Samuel and Landon went to see "Horton Hears a Who" downtown at Pioneer Place. It's going to be so much fun having a little girl! I couldn't resist picking up a few things for Juniper at Old Navy. Here she is sporting her first dress. Denim dresses have to be the cutest thing ever on baby girls. You can't see the cute little pockets on the back of the dress--adorable!

Tonight we're going out with my family to celebrate my Mom's 58th birthday! This means Juniper and Samuel will get lots of attention and Landon and I will be able to relax a little. I'll have to get a strawberry daqueri or something. I'm looking forward to it! Happy early birthday, Mom! I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I love that hat!! i mean the dress and sweater are adorable too, but that hat is sooo cute! I would wear that hat. Welcome to the world of girls....their stuff is so much cuter than boys.

I agree about the girl stuff. I have a boy and I have to get pretty creative looking for stuff. Seems like they often just throw a large character on boy stuff to attempt to make it cute. The hat is adorable (& outfit), I love patchwork. I have also found that the more expensive boy clothes well they kinda look a little like faggy golfer clothes. Does anyone else see that?

How cute! There are so many sweet girlie clothes and that one's adorable.

How did Samuel like Horton?

Yes, every little girl does need a denim dress...it's a must! And Juniper looks adorable in hers!

Oh and I was going to tell you....Eliana's headbands are ones that Abbie wore when she was a baby. I think I got them at Target or Walmart...but that was 5 years ago. They do have some cute ones at Target right now though.

Okay, I have to agree with Mama Val about the boys clothes. The more expensive they are the more feminine they look. What is that? Olivia has like 4 denim jumpers in her closet right now...each a little bit different. Girls are fun to dress!
