Baby Products

I love Juniper's new organic cotton pilot cap from Hanna Andersson. I don't usually shop there, but it's the perfect little spring hat for her, and it stays on really well, too.

I've always wanted to try out the Wild Carrot baby products , and I finally picked up a jar of Baby Carrot Goo Goo Baby Bum Balm that was on sale at New Seasons for $3.00. I don't think I'll ever use anything else, although the Weleda Caledula Baby Cream that Annagrace gave me is wonderful, too. But back to the Baby Carrot Bum Balm--it cleared up Juniper's light diaper rash overnight! It goes on really nicely and her skin quickly absorbs it. You know when you're putting it on that it's a "good thing." What a big improvement over Desitin, which has always left a nasty residue that I have to wash off with soap and water, irritating her sensitive skin even more. I know the Wild Carrot products aren't cheap, but if you ever get a chance to try them out, they're wonderful!

A friend of mine recommended the Baby Bee Apricot Baby Oil for Juniper's cradle cap and dry skin, and I love it. It smells wonderful & it's been a great product for Juniper's skin. I haven't yet tried the other Baby Bee products, but having first started out by using their beeswax lip balms and shimmers, I was sold on this brand years ago.

On another note, I've had a couple friends send me the link to the Stuff White People Like blog. It's pretty hilarious--check it out! I think #75, Threatening to Move to Canada, is particularly funny.

Some of those sound so nice. I don't think I've tried the Wild Carrot products before but I'll have to look for them now.

We use the Weleda diaper cream and we love that one too.

And great hat! I get their catalog but have never bought anything from there.

Hanna stuff washes better than ANYTHING in my opinion. It's spendy but most of Pea's Hannas could go through 2 more kids without looking worn. I'm going to check out the outlet near you next week, I think. Their baby moccasins are the best!

I'm going to have to remember Wild Carrot for the new baby--Pea was allergic to almost everything I tried with her, including Weleda and Burt's Bees.

And that blog--I was reading it yesterday. So funny! I like the Dinner Party post, too.

We've used Burt's Bees diaper cream for over a year now and really love it. We also like their shampoo and lotion, and that it's available at Target.

We've been using Canus Li'l Goat Milk baby products lately. And they're really great, too.
