Christmas Eve

Monday, December 24, 2007

Juniper is 2 weeks old today! Unfortunately, she caught Samuel's cold, and we were up quite a lot last night together (I got 3 hours of sleep), but she's hanging in there, poor thing! We were down in McMinnville today to celebrate Christmas Eve with my family. It was a nice afternoon, dinner, and evening of opening presents. Hopefully, Juniper will be feeling better by tomorrow for her first Christmas. Samuel is so excited. We're going to open presents together as a family as soon as we wake up, and I have a pound of the Christmas blend from Starbucks in the freezer I plan to grind in the morning for a fresh pot of French-pressed coffee. Sounds SO good right now. As I type this, Christmas Eve has already turned to Christmas morning--Merry Christmas everyone! --Karli

She just gets prettier and prettier! I can't wait to meet her, now that I'm finally well. Maybe next week, if you guys are up to it, we could bring you some coffee...

What a beautiful picture of both of you Karli! She is gorgeous. I love all the hair and it looks curly!

I'm sorry I'm just now getting back to you. The only thing I would do is nurse, nurse, nurse, which I'm sure you are already doing. I hope she starts feeling better soon.

Hey Andrea, Juniper's hair is very curly, especially just after it's been washed. --Karli
