Still pregnant...
Okay, those were the only two words I could come up with earlier today, but then my friend Sarah e-mailed me about her experience with going over her due date with her fourth pregnancy and how she decided to make plans every day she was over to divert her focus from the waiting. I decided that although I've been keeping busy, I needed to come up with a plan tonight to refresh my spirits & improve my mental status, so Landon, Samuel, and I went over to the east side for some Japanese food at our favorite bento place, Toney Bento. Then, for the best part--we went over to Buckman for their family swim (on Fridays, admission is 2 for the price of 1). Their indoor pool is heated to 85 degrees, but my advice--don't take a really hot shower beforehand, because 85 degrees is still 85 degrees, and it took awhile to adjust to the temperature difference between the shower & the pool. Anyway, it felt great to be in the water & I only wish I had made this a regular activity during my pregnancy, especially during the 3rd trimester. I would recommend swimming to any pregnant woman! It made a big difference in how I felt physically & mentally tonight. Afterwards, I treated myself to a peanut buster parfait at Dairy Queen. I know, I know...not too healthy, but hey, I'm 41 + weeks pregnant, so I think I deserve one! Well, the swim has made me feel so relaxed that I'm actually sleepy right now, and it's only 9:45PM, so I think I'm going to call it a night & get ready for bed. --Karli
P.S. We forgot our camera. No, this is not an underwater shot of me, but a borrowed image from the Internet!

Karli,

While there's nothing anyone can say to help you right now. . .

I think you're doing a great job!

Once your little girl is here, all the waiting will be worth it.
