40 Weeks + 3 Days

I'm still pregnant. I slept really well last night, and only woke up once with cramping sensations. I've appreciated the fact that I've been getting some good sleep at night. Even though I got about 9 hours of sleep, I've felt really tired this morning. Landon has come down with a cold, and wants to stay home today with Samuel to get over it. With all this rain & then the high winds that are expected for today, this is a perfect day to stay indoors. I, however, would like some alone time, so I'm going to head downtown to Border's for awhile for coffee & book-browsing. It will be good for me to get my mind off the pregnancy for a couple of hours. One of my friends e-mailed me the other day and said maybe she will blow in with the wind storm today. Only time will tell...

Hi Karli,
I found your site through Jennyology - I thought I'd contact you because I, too, am waiting for a baby and find these days agonizingly long. My due date came and went a week ago. I'm really trying to avoid an induction because I wanted to at least TRY to do this naturally (at the hospital but without drugs). Are you planning a natural birth? Did you have one with your first child?

Stay strong sister! If you need someone to commiserate with, email me.

p.s. - I used to live in Portland - LOVE that city.

Hi Chelsea,
I couldn't see your e-mail address on your blogger profile. E-mail me your e-mail address & I'll definitely send you an e-mail.

hey Karli, I keep thinking I'm going to see that you've gone into labor. And you totally fooled me on the Yahoo post that you titled "labor." I was so positive that you'd gone into labor that I jumped to your blog without reading your post. :)

Anyway, consider yourself tagged for the "7 Random Things" meme floating around. See my blog for details.

I don't know why this seems like rocket science to me...I'll blame it on being 41 weeks pregnant. Is your email karlikuhn/yahoo? I tried emailing that one, hopefully it will work. If not, my email address is chelsea.hilton/gmail.

Hope to hear from you soon. Sending labor vibes...

You're doing great Karli!

I'm glad you were able to sneak away for some alone time tonight.

Each day that passes is one day closer to meeting your little girl. At least you know she's comfortable in there :-).
