Travel Day

Monday, June 25, 2007
After spending a leisurely morning going to Starbucks, then walking around Merritt Lake with Landon and Samuel, we headed back to Marylou's for lunch, then left for the airport. It was a pretty uneventful travel day, but long, since we had to take Max & bus home from the airport. I'll never do that again! Not worth the few dollars you save on parking. We had way too much luggage and a toddler in tow to make that a worthwhile endeavor. I was so glad to get back home. California is fun to visit, but always feels a little too crowded to me, and I miss the trees and green foliage of Oregon.

I had originally planned to visit my friend Kerrie and her new baby boy while in the area, but she went two weeks overdue, and with my cold, I felt it best not to visit afterall. I received a wonderful little video of the birth (edited, of course), and her new little boy is adorable!

So, we're home, unpacked, and now preparing for my brother's wedding at the end of the week. It's been a busy June, and I'm already nearly 18 weeks pregnant. How did that happen? I hope July & August are much less busy, because this pregnancy is flying by, and I haven't even started getting ready for the new baby!

I wish I would have known that you were down our way. We could have met up in the City. Oh well. It looks like your trip was fun anyways. Have fun back up in the rain...yuck!!!

Hey, I didn't know you guys were close enough to meet us! I would have loved to have seen you! Darn! Now that I know you're close to this area, I will definitely contact you in the future about getting together. We go down there about once a year to visit all of Landon's family. You know Kerrie's around there, right? And Dave & Iris?
