Happy Mother's Day

What a special Mother's Day this year with two year old Samuel and another baby on the way. Landon told me to go back to sleep this morning, so an hour later, as I stumbled my way downstairs in a foggy haze, I was incredibly surprised and happy to find pancakes and bacon cooking & a bouquet of fresh wildflowers on the table! What a nice surprise!

During the afternoon, we went to the zoo, which ended up being incredibly crowded, but was a fun family outing, and Samuel loves the zoo! He runs from exhibit to exhibit and when he's been through everything he wants to start all over. Landon had packed a good lunch of yogurt, sandwiches, strawberries, and granola bars. So much better than the nasty cafeteria food they serve in their cafe!

Later, we met my whole family at the Spaghetti Factory to celebrate Mother's Day with my Mom, Grandma E., and sisters. Everyone was able to make it, and we were able to get a table with a river view.

It was a great Mother's Day!
