Landon and I spent the morning weeding our yard. We are both excited, because I am going to call the contractor tomorrow morning and arrange for him to stop by to see our property and talk about the addition. This is a much cheaper way to come up with more living space. The real estate market is crazy expensive right now, and there is no telling when prices might even out with the income ratio. I think our location isn't the ideal for raising a family, but we have a lot of positives in living here, also. We have a big backyard, which is uncommon for east-side lots, we are close to Landon's work, which makes for an easy commute, and we are almost within halfway distance between my parents and Landon's parents. With good traffic, it takes only 45 minutes to get from our house to my parents' house, and it always takes about 30 minutes to get to Mike & Susan's house. Pretty weird, considering the mileage is about 35 miles to my parents' house, and only about 10 to Mike & Susan's. Anyway, I like the aspect of living a little closer to my parents. It used to take about an hour and a half when we were living on the east side to get to McMinnville. Anyway, I'm trying to focus on the positives. I had a nice time weeding with Landon this morning. Samuel slept almost the whole time, so it was a peaceful weeding experience. Karli
