Today was a busy day. Samuel and I started off by meeting Colleen & Cindy at Starbucks in SE Portland, then we headed over to Susan's Montessori School so Susan could show Samuel to her co-workers and students. One little Chinese boy asked, "What country did he come from?" It was super cute. All the kids had questions about him like, "Can he talk yet?" "How old is he?" "Can he dance?" After a short visit at the school, we went to the Moms' group in SW. This evening, I'm super proud of myself, because I was able to successfully leave Samuel for a little over two hours with Landon! It will be a long time before I'm ready to leave him with anyone besides Landon, but for right now, I am proud of myself for being able to take this big step of leaving him at all. I was pretty anxious the whole time, and called several times to check on him, but everything went fine, and Landon did a great job. In fact, when I got home, Samuel was sound asleep for the night. Great job, Landon! Thanks!
