Landon and I made and early-morning trip to Lowe's to make a couple of returns, then went to The Home Depot to buy a 5th solar-powered light for our driveway. We ended up having to stop our errands there to breastfeed Samuel & change a very dirty diaper before proceeding. Fred Meyer was our next stop, and we dropped $88.00 on what I thought was just a few things for dinner. Groceries are pretty much out-of-control expensive these days! Anyway, Landon invited his parents over for dinner, and I made a bean & pasta soup, and Landon made homemade garlic butter which we served on freshly baked bread. Mike & Susan brought over a salad with hard-boiled eggs, walnuts, and cranberries, which was very good. It was a nutritious meal that I think everyone enjoyed. Landon and I have since been watching The Soprano's. It's now 9pm, and I think we'll probably watch one more epidsode before going to bed. Samuel is quietly sleeping in his swing right now. --Karli
