I worked today from 8:30-12:30pm, then drove to Sherwood to meet my Mom & sisters for a Christmas Tea at Lavendar Tea House. The high tea took about two hours or so. My Mom gave each of us girls a Willow Tree figurine for Christmas. They are really nice. When I got home, it was almost 4pm, so I didn't have much time to get ready before the Aveda party, which was to start at 6pm. Landon decided to go with me at the last minute. When we got there, there was a line out the door, but it moved fast. Once we got inside, we filled out the form to get our VIP cards, which would allow a 10% discount on Aveda products for 2005. It also allows a 10% discount to other business around Portland, like Noah's Bagels, for example. The store was packed full of people, and it was hard to move around. There were models standing on platforms, desserts for all the party-goers, and wine and coffee. Landon and I left after about 30 minutes. We saw Jen, Sharla, Cindy, and her friend Gena there. After Landon and I left, we went to a restaurant called The Italian Joint just down the street. We had great Italian food there. Landon got the spicey angel hair pasta, and I ordered the dungeness crab and artichoke ravioli with cream sauce. It was really good, and under $10.00 a plate, which is a decent price for Italian food. After we got home, we watched Alias for awhile, then went to bed. --Karli
