Today is Father's Day. I gave my dad a golf shirt when we were in Kah-nee-ta, then called him today on the phone to wish him a Happy Father's Day.

I was basically in a state of exhaustion all day today. After getting two-three hours of sleep in Kah-nee-ta, then 5 hours of sleep after the benefit at Biddy McGraw's (during which we made about 500.00), I was too tired to do much of anything today. I ended up sleeping after waking up at 8:30am again from 9:30-11:30, then Landon and I went downtown and walked around, got slurpees at 7-11 and ate at Cha! Cha! Cha! for lunch. When I got home, I was tired again (not that I wasn't tired the whole time I was walking downtown). So, I took a 3 hour nap when I got home. Then, Landon and I went to Thai Bistro for dinner, then came home and watched Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom until about 11:30pm, then went to bed. We both slept in until 8am, so we were definitely catching up on sleep, although Landon hadn't lost as much sleep as I had.

Landon got an eco-sphere from his parents for Father's Day, and I got him some refrigerator magnets that you can play around with to make word poetry on the refrigerator. I also got him a little turtle for the baby and a deck of cards that are 50 tips for new parents. Tracy and Mike got him two burp rags, and one of them says "I Love my Daddy" on it. Very cute. Landon was surprised to get anything for this Father's Day, but it was fun to celebrate it nonetheless, and he was happy to receive the gifts.

No pictures from Kah-nee-ta, unfortunately, or of the benefit, or of today, so I'm going to post this pictureless, and hopefully will have more to post in the way of pictures later this week.

Tomorrow I start school again! 8 more weeks until graduation!
