Bags Are Packed

There is a lull this morning, and the house is very quiet.  I was up until 1AM this morning getting last minute things finished for our annual trip to Australia, then up again at 6AM.  It was a teary goodbye this morning as two of my three children will be staying behind.  My youngest, Amelia, will be joining me; we take one child each time we go.  She fell back asleep this morning, which she needs, as we have almost 30 hours of travel time coming up.  I am sipping on my coffee and enjoying these last minutes before we leave.  I will miss my beautiful Spring garden, Sam and Juniper, and Pepper, but looking forward to creating new, lifelong memories with our Australian family and my beloved husband and youngest daughter.
