Urban Farm Store

I was finally able to stop by the Urban Farm Store (1925 SE Morrison St.) after hearing about it from several friends, and what a sweet little store it is.

Supporting the urban homesteader, this store offers free classes on everything from chicken keeping to vegetable gardening. Check out their calendar for more information on the classes they offer.

The Urban Farm Store is currently selling many varieties of chicks, as well as a coop kit for an introductory price of $275 that will hold 3-8 hens. They'll soon have a coop for $275 that holds 3-4 hens, and will be raising the price of the larger one for 3-8 hens to $350.
